Operating Room Nurse

Groves Memorial Community Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room, Endoscopy Suite, Day Surgery, and Recovery Room.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments and document patient information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Participate in departmental educational activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Post-graduate course in Perioperative Nursing.
- Membership in RNAO and CNA (an asset).
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience.
- Current BCLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
