Job Title: Operating Room Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Groves Memorial Community Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Operating Room, Endoscopy Suite, Day Surgery, and Recovery Room.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in perioperative nursing.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment by promoting open communication and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Post-graduate course in Perioperative Nursing.
  • Membership in RNAO and CNA is an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the Operating Room.
  • Current BCLS and ACLS certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
