Insurance Sales Representative Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Insurance Sales Representative. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to identify customer needs and market appropriate insurance products and services.
  • Effectively communicate insurance products to clients, providing prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service.
  • Meet deadlines with accuracy and thoroughness, working collaboratively with our agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Meet monthly lead generation and sales goals, driving business growth and revenue.
Requirements:
  • General Level 1 Insurance License
  • 1 year experience in the insurance industry (preferred)
  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
  • Excellent communication, written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic
  • Diligent and hardworking
  • Proactive in problem-solving

This is a full-time position within a Desjardins Insurance Agency in North York, ON. This is not a remote role.

As an independent contractor agent, our employees are not employees of Desjardins. Independent contractor agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
