Job Summary

We seek a skilled Clinical Registration Coordinator to join our Health Information Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely patient registration and processing, as well as scheduling physician clinic time. Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurate entry of patient information into Meditech
  • Completion of various health forms and consents
  • Assistance with quality audits and corrections
  • Liaising with departments within the health centre and other health centres
  • Receiving and relaying messages via phone and fax
  • Scanning and archiving documents
  • Maintaining supplies and equipment
  • Training new staff as required

Casual Relief Opportunities

Casual relief opportunities are available in Prenatal Clinic Registration, Shared Ambulatory Clinic Registration, and Registration Resource Team.

Hours of Work

The selected candidate will work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, in one of the above-mentioned areas.

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of a recognized business/secretarial program (an asset)
  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)
  • Demonstrated accurate keyboarding and data entry skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Competencies in other languages (an asset)

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $22.894 - $24.8939 per hour, based on location and industry standards.
