Job OverviewWe are seeking a full-time clinical psychologist to join our team at the medical clinic located at CFB Halifax near Stadacona. This role offers a unique blend of collaboration and flexibility, with 4 days spent working in a team setting and 1 day dedicated to remote work.

Responsibilities include:
Mental Health Services- Providing psycho-diagnostic assessments for adult populations, including differential diagnosis
- Delivering professional services related to diagnosis, assessment, evaluation, treatment, and prevention of psychological, emotional, psycho-physiological, and behavior disorders
- Administering diagnostic tests and interpreting results to prepare comprehensive psychological evaluations
- Reporting findings and recommendations to the multidisciplinary team
- Developing and implementing treatment plans using evidence-based practice, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma processing therapies
- Participating in case reviews and contributing to the development of mental health programming
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university recognized by the Canadian Psychological Association or American Psychological Association
- Registration as a psychologist and authorization for autonomous practice with the relevant provincial licensing body
- 2 years of full-time, post-graduate experience under a license for autonomous practice within the last 5 years, completing psycho-diagnostic assessments and providing treatment services for adults with PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders, and other mental health conditions
- Candidates must be eligible for a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
- Current certification in CPR Level C with AED or willingness to obtain
