Job Description

The Clinical Pediatric Hematology Nurse Coordinator will be a key member of our interdisciplinary care team. They will provide holistic, evidence-based care to meet the needs of individuals, families, and/or communities. This role involves leadership in nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient/family care to promote, maintain, or restore health, prevent illness, injury, or disability, or support a peaceful death.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Licensure by the Nova Scotia College of Nursing
  • A minimum three years of recent pediatric experience
  • Recent pediatric hematology experience required
  • Patient/staff education experience essential
  • CPR Level-C Healthcare Provider certification within the last 12 months
  • Demonstrated ability to function in complex systems and manage multiple priorities
