About This Role

We are seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join our team as a District School Psychologist. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for conducting psycho-educational assessments and providing consultation services to teachers and parents.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that involves working with students from K-12. Your expertise will help identify learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and cognitive impairments. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective intervention plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments for students from K-12
  • Provide consultation services to teachers and parents regarding student issues
  • Assist in the identification process of students in special education categories
  • Provide guidance on assessment tools and methods
  • Collaborate with district and school staff to plan intervention programs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of a Master's degree in School Psychology or an equivalent qualification. Membership in the Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch and the BC Association of School Psychologists is highly desirable. You should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $57,984 to $107,490 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Additionally, there is a Position of Special Responsibility stipend. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to attract and retain top talent in the field.
