**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop appropriate interventions.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement strategies that support student learning and well-being.
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special education needs.
- Collect and analyze data related to student performance and mental health to inform decision-making.
- Offer training and resources to educators on mental health topics, classroom management, and effective teaching strategies.
- Engage with parents and guardians to provide guidance on supporting their child's emotional and academic growth.
- Stay current with research in psychology, educational practices, and relevant medical terminology.

**Experience**
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field is required.
- Experience working with children in an educational or clinical setting is essential.
- Familiarity with data collection methods for assessing student progress is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of special education laws, practices, and interventions is preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong research skills to stay informed about best practices in school psychology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff.

Pay: $53.00-$54.46 per hour
