Desktop Administration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Administration Specialist to join our team in Kingston, Ontario. This role involves providing technical support and maintenance for desktop computers, printers, and other hardware devices.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in Windows operating systems and experience with troubleshooting, parts replacement, and system upgrades. They will also be responsible for performing basic repairs, deployments, and print-related tasks.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless operations and provide exceptional client service skills. We are looking for someone who is proactive, able to identify potential issues, and takes corrective action to prevent disruptions.
This position requires a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience and a strong educational background, including a high school diploma or equivalent. An undergraduate degree or some college coursework is preferred. You should also have experience working within a Windows environment and hold A+ desktop or equivalent certification.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and non-routine technical tasks related to desktop administration
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in desktop administration
