We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist - Network Administrator to join our team at the Academy of Learning College. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of network systems, security protocols, and technical expertise.

Job Summary:

The IT Infrastructure Specialist - Network Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the college's network infrastructure. This includes installing and configuring network hardware and software, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring the security and integrity of the network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain the college's network infrastructure
  • Install and configure network hardware and software
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues and resolve technical problems
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the network
  • Provide technical support to staff and students
  • Monitor network performance and make recommendations for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in network administration

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in network administration
  • Strong understanding of network systems, security protocols, and technical expertise
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with JavaOS, device drivers, networking software, and security protocols
  • Knowledge of file management software, presentation software, programming software, and database software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
