Description:

As a member of our dynamic group benefits and retirement programs team, the Senior Advisor position requires expert analytics skills and advice to contribute to the success and sustainability of group benefits and retirement programs. You'll partner with stakeholders to develop targeted solutions and needs-based programming, collaborating with Human Resource teams, AHS departments, unions, consultants, and service providers. Your deep subject matter expertise will enable you to provide leadership to your peers, making informed decisions, observing trends, analyzing existing programs, and engaging in alternative scenario assessment to accurately determine the impact of plan changes. An ideal candidate will utilize project management, critical thinking/problem solving, data and statistical analysis, financial management, risk identification, and policy/contract development to contribute to the effective management of the Employee Benefits & Retirement Programs team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement targeted solutions and needs-based programming
  • Provide expert analytics skills and advice to contribute to the success and sustainability of group benefits and retirement programs
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Make informed decisions, observe trends, analyze existing programs, and engage in alternative scenario assessment
  • Utilize project management, critical thinking/problem solving, data and statistical analysis, financial management, risk identification, and policy/contract development
Required Qualifications:

CEBS designation or other related professional designation. A combination of education, skills, and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Business degree, underwriting, project management training, actuarial, investment, financial planner, or accounting certification. More than 5 years' experience in a similar role in a complex environment. Understanding of group benefit and retirement program trending.
