Job Title: Business Development Specialist
Description:
The Business Development Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion for OCR Canada. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify new business leads to support the OCR Canada Sales Director and Account Executive teams.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including consultants, engineers, managers, and C-level personnel.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to secure new business.
- Collaborate with the Service Team, CTO, and PS Manager to effectively schedule and deploy System Engineers for professional services related to orders.
- Participate in other duties and special projects as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 to 5 years of successful business development and lead generation experience.
- College or bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver's License with Satisfactory driving record.
Preferred Characteristics:
- Excellent computer skills and computer literacy.
- Excellent task and priority skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and judgment skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Professional telephone manner.
