We're seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Strategist who thrives on challenges and can strategically combine elements of finance, technology, and business planning to drive the growth and sophistication of our finance and credit operations.

About the Role

As a Finance Operations Strategist, you'll be a crucial player in shaping the future of our finance and credit organization. This isn't just a finance role—it's a dynamic, hands-on position where you'll be building processes, driving innovation, and solving complex problems. You'll work at the intersection of finance, data, and strategy, using your expertise to create and implement scalable solutions that support our growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Implement Efficient Financial Processes: Develop and implement efficient financial processes that can scale as we grow, with a focus on automation and innovation.
  • Drive Business Growth and Operational Efficiency: Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Develop Financial Models and Data-Driven Analyses: Develop financial models, credit assessments, and data-driven analyses that inform key business decisions.
  • Bridge Accounting and Credit Teams: Serve as a bridge between the accounting and credit teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on all financial and business objectives.
  • Solve Complex Challenges: Tackle complex, cross-functional challenges with creative and data-driven solutions.
  • Lead Technology Initiatives: Lead initiatives that leverage technology to improve our financial operations, whether through process automation, advanced analytics, or other cutting-edge approaches.
  • Mentor and Guide Team Members: Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3-5 Years of Experience: 3-5 years of experience in finance operations, strategy, or a related field, ideally within a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Strong Financial Skills: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Finance) or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and experience with financial software and automation tools.
