Job Title: Inpatient Program Assistant

Job Summary:

The University Health Network is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inpatient Program Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will provide administrative support to our Program Services Manager and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Program Services Manager, including reception duties, typing, filing, and photocopying
  • Ensure accurate and timely input of admission, discharge, and transfer information into the ADT system
  • Maintain accurate and confidential filing systems, including patient health records
  • Coordinate patient appointments, compile and enter program service statistics, and track and submit payroll
  • Provide coverage and assistance to other program administrative positions as required

Requirements:

  • Community College diploma with recognized Office Management Certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years relevant experience, preferably in Complex Continuing Care
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of organization and attention to detail
