The University Health Network is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inpatient Program Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our inpatient programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Manage patient records, including admission, discharge, and transfer documentation
- Coordinate patient appointments, tests, and procedures
- Prepare and maintain accurate and confidential patient files
- Assist with data entry and reporting
- Provide administrative support to program managers and staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain a safe and respectful work environment
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., office administration, healthcare administration)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
