About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Assistant to join our team at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. As a key member of our program, you will provide administrative support to our Program Services Manager and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Manage and maintain accurate and confidential patient records
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments and procedures
  • Prepare and distribute reports, letters, and other documents as required
  • Assist with data entry and statistical analysis
  • Provide administrative support to the Program Services Manager and other team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe and respectful work environment
Requirements
  • Community College diploma with a recognized Office Management Certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and data entry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
