We are seeking ambitious individuals to join our Sales Development Program, a comprehensive training initiative designed to equip you with the skills and expertise required to succeed in business.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic team environment.

As a Business Development Trainee, you will progress through a structured 5-phase program, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of our business, including sales, operations, purchasing, and account management.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Phase 1: Warehouse Logistics – Familiarize yourself with our products, shipping processes, and sales support systems.
  • Phase 2: Counter Sales – Engage with customers, manage orders, inventory, pricing, credit, and financial statements.
  • Phase 3: Inside Sales – Develop skills to process customer orders from start to finish, including quoting, sourcing materials, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Phase 4: Outside Sales/Account Management – Learn to identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and build relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Phase 5: Career Advancement – Leverage your training to pursue a career path that suits your interests and strengths.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Post-secondary education (an asset)
  • A positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A valid driver's license with a clean abstract
