About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machinist Trainee to join our team at Steelserv Corp.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop their skills in machining and assembly while working with our experienced team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and lay out work pieces for accurate assembly
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and charts
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools to ensure optimal performance
  • Fabricate components and machine parts to precise specifications
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments
  • Verify dimensions of machined parts using precise measuring tools
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools efficiently
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy standards
  • Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

  • Quick learner with a willingness to develop new skills
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $50,000 per year, based on industry standards. Steelserv Corp offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
