At Intact Financial Corporation, we're seeking a highly skilled Actuarial professional to lead our team in achieving strategic objectives. As a Director of Actuarial Operations, you will be responsible for managing the optimal use of human resources, representing the Actuarial function on company task forces, and fostering teamwork and leadership within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage team operations, including budget planning and resource allocation.
  • Represent the Actuarial function on company task forces and committees.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and achieve company objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to team members.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the team.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in actuarial management, including leadership roles.
  • University degree in Actuarial Science or Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional experience in P&C insurance, with a focus on actuarial operations.
  • FICA and FCAS designations preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
