Job Title: Senior Vice President, Actuarial Leadership

CNA is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Vice President, Actuarial Leadership to lead our actuarial team and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Oversee all actuarial practices, including pricing, reserving, data management, reporting, and data modeling functions.
  • Partner with senior management to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of actuaries to ensure delivery of high-quality actuarial opinions and regulatory reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
  • Appointed Actuary (OSFI Guideline No. E-15).
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of related work experience, with 10 years of management experience.
