About the PositionThis position is a great opportunity for an experienced instructor to share their knowledge and expertise with students. As a Financial Management Instructor, you will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, preparing and updating lesson plans, delivering course materials, and providing instruction in-person or online.
Specific Accountabilities- Create a supportive and inclusive teaching environment that fosters student engagement and motivation.
- Prepare and/or update lesson plans to ensure alignment with curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.
- Deliver course materials and provide instruction in-person or online, using a variety of teaching methods to engage students.
- Prepare and grade student assessments, including detailed feedback to support student learning and development.
- Communicate with students in a timely manner, responding to inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in business administration (BBA) or equivalent with a specialization in Finance.
- A Master's degree in business or related area is considered an asset.
- Experience as an investment advisor or insurance professional is preferred.
- Teaching experience is an asset, but not required.
The salary for this position will be determined at time of hire, based on education and qualifications. The rate of pay will be in accordance with our classification form in the Collective Agreement.
