Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between $44,500 and $82,500 per year, depending on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.

Job Description

As an Expert Financial Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to provide financial planning and advice to deliver solutions in the best interests of the customer. This includes determining client needs and providing solutions through the sales of managed products and services, such as mutual funds, retirement savings plans, and similar products. You will also engage with new and existing customers and prospects to proactively assess their needs and identify opportunities to grow loyalty and acquire new business.

  • You will implement business development strategies to acquire new business, including outbound calling campaigns and cultivating branch referrals.
  • You will develop and implement a relationship management plan to meet the needs of clients and respond to their investment requests to fulfill product needs aligned with their goals.
  • You will analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations, and execute work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have typically 3-5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You must also meet the regulatory/governing body licensing and registration requirements of a Financial Planner in the province or territory of employment.

You will require advanced working knowledge of the financial industry, specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Collaboration and team skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and influence skills are also essential for this role.
