Financial Planning Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Planning Specialist to provide comprehensive financial planning and advice to our mass affluent investing clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying client goals, providing expert financial planning, and building long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial planning and analysis to identify client goals and risk tolerance
- Provide expert financial planning advice and guidance to clients
- Develop and implement tailored financial plans to meet client objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and customer service
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team and department goals
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and expertise
Requirements:
- University degree and/or 3-5 years of industry experience
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required
- IIROC license preferred (required within first 90 days in role)
- Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days in role
- IQPF licensing required prior to start date (for Quebec only)
- Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months in role
- Achieve Certified Financial Planner designation within first 3 years in role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
