About the Role

This full-time position is responsible for managing financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, posting journal entries, and preparing statistical reports.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, possess excellent oral communication skills, be able to work independently, and have proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Calculate and record fixed asset values, depreciation, and amortization.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare trial balance, income statement, and balance sheet.
  • Journals and Ledger Entries: Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain general ledger.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in financial management or accounting.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
