Financial Planning Expert

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Expert to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning and advice to our mass affluent investing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and understand client goals, provide tailored financial planning solutions, and build long-term relationships through expertise and relationship building.
- Conduct thorough analysis and reporting to inform recommendations and assess program effectiveness.
- Contribute to team goals, enhance customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
- Monitor service quality, productivity, and efficiency, implementing continuous improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, trends, and procedures.
- Develop and share expertise, provide mentorship, and support colleagues.
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, aligned with our risk appetite.
- Participate as a valued team member, supporting a service-oriented work environment.
Requirements:
- University degree and/or 3-5 years of industry experience.
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required.
- IIROC license preferred (within the first 90 days in role).
- Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within the first 90 days in role.
- IQPF licensing required prior to start date (for Quebec only).
- Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within the first 30 months in role.
- Achieve Certified Financial Planner designation within the first 3 years in role.
- Deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape, and economic market issues.
- Strong communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively and independently, provide assistance, and build relationships.
