Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and detail fabrication projects from inception to completion.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on fabrication-related matters.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for projects, serving as a resource for both shop and field teams.
  • Engage with customers to address technical inquiries and provide advice on fabricated items.
  • Work independently, adhering to industry standards, while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • A College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience; C of Q trades workers may also be considered.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to read blueprints.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication practices, industrial construction trades, welding procedures, and metallurgy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective administrative tasks.
  • Ability to manage schedules, meet deadlines, and resolve problems as they arise.
