Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team at 1040023 ALBERTA LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities- Training and Development: Train or arrange for training for truck drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Coordination and Scheduling: Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure that our logistics operations run efficiently and effectively.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions or disciplinary actions, to ensure that our team is motivated and performing at its best.
- Logistics Coordination: Co-ordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and supplies to ensure that our operations are not disrupted.
- Procurement: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support our logistics operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role is required.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
