Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team at 1040023 ALBERTA LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and develop our truck drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and optimal use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, to ensure the team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and vehicles to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support the team's activities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 40 hours per week.
