Job Description

As a Health Care Aide, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse, assisting with patient care and providing basic supportive care as assigned. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing exceptional patient care and support to clients
  2. Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  3. Preparing patients for medical procedures and treatments
  4. Assisting with meal preparation and serving
  5. Providing emotional support and companionship to clients

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A recognized Health Care Aide certificate program
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize assigned workload
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
