We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Seven Oaks General Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide professional registered nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs.

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Manager Health Services, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing independent nursing services, including administering prescribed medical treatments
  • Taking a leadership role within the healthcare team to facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge

You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure seamless transitions between care settings. A strong understanding of regional and facility policies, procedures, and guidelines is essential for this role.

About the Role

This permanent full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate must have a valid registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) and be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A graduate degree from an approved Registered Nursing education program
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting, preferably in Family Medicine 3U1-3
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses and the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
