Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Sanitation Specialist to join our team at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. As a Sanitation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties in the Main Kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Operate the pot washing machine and perform various cleaning tasks and waste disposal tasks.
- Work collaboratively with the Food Services Supervisor and Area Manager to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety.
Requirements:
- Grade 10 diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Manual skills and ability to lift heavy objects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or similar environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and protocols.
Compensation: The salary for this position is estimated to be around $20.55 per hour, based on the location and industry standards.
