Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Manager will drive sales growth by managing and expanding customer relationships within the luxury jewelry and diamond industry. This role involves securing new business, overseeing inventory, and optimizing sales performance through strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Present Sales Proposals: Create and present sales proposals to existing and prospective clients, highlighting the value proposition of our luxury jewelry and diamond products.
  2. Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business and retail opportunities in the luxury jewelry and diamond industry, leveraging industry connections and market research.
  3. Manage Inventory and Visual Merchandising: Manage inventory levels and visual merchandising based on sales reports, ensuring that our products are showcased in a way that maximizes sales potential.
  4. Process Orders and Quotes: Process orders and quotes efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
  5. Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, providing personalized service and promoting company products throughout the sales cycle.
  6. Achieve Sales Targets: Achieve sales targets using innovative strategies, including market research and competitor analysis.
  7. Utilize Company Systems: Utilize company systems for account management and growth, including CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  8. Educate Customers: Educate customers on products and services, highlighting the unique features and benefits of our luxury jewelry and diamond offerings.
  9. Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including market research and competitor analysis.
  10. Monitor Competitor Activities: Monitor competitor activities and build strong relationships with retailers and sales associates, staying ahead of the competition in the luxury jewelry and diamond industry.
  11. Conduct Market Research: Conduct market research and negotiate with customers, ensuring that our products meet the needs of the market and our customers.
  12. Maintain Accurate Sales Records: Maintain accurate sales records and address complaints, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with our products and services.
  13. Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with marketing, accounting, customer service, and production teams, ensuring that our sales efforts are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  14. Participate in Industry Events: Participate in industry events and inventory clean-ups, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications.
  2. Experience: At least 5 years of outside sales experience in the luxury jewelry or diamond industry.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office, strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, capacity to lift up to 30 lbs and travel across the US territory.
