Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Deejay's Auto Sales & Service. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Office Administration: Establish and maintain office procedures and routines, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements, as well as maintain calendars and itineraries.
  • Communication: Answer and direct telephone calls, respond to electronic inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Documentation and Records: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel, accommodations, and related itineraries, as well as make reservations and bookings.
  • Reception and Greeting: Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate contacts or service areas.
  • Team Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role, or equivalent experience.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to multitask, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, judgment, organization, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
