About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Automotive Fixed Ops Software Trainer to join our team at PBS Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support and training to our customers on our Dealer Management Software (DMS), specifically in the Parts and/or Service modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Training and Support: Provide virtual training, online and on the phone, to new and existing customers on our DMS software.
  • On-Site Training: Assist customers with new software install training at their locations throughout North America.
  • Process Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our software and the process for training customers.
  • Data Entry and Key Tasks: Learn and develop skills in data entry and other key tasks related to our software.
  • Payroll Module: Complete the payroll module, if applicable.
  • Install Resource: Become an install resource without assistance.
  • Task Prioritization: Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks without direction from Team Leads.
  • Continuous Learning: Take the initiative to learn new products to increase knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent support to our customers in our software.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Fluency in French and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Industry Experience: 1-2 years' previous experience in the automotive industry, dealership environment, or PBS Systems.
  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • Computer Skills: Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Time Management: Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Travel: Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month.
