The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Automotive Fixed Ops Software Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our Dealer Training Organization (DTO), you will play a critical role in supporting and training our customers on our Dealer Management Software (DMS).

The Role

As a Bilingual Automotive Fixed Ops Software Trainer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support and training to new and existing customers on our DMS, specifically in the Parts and/or Service modules.
  • Assisting customers with virtual training, online and on the phone, leading up to the implementation of our software.
  • Traveling to customer sites throughout North America to provide on-site training and support.
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our software and its applications.
  • Collaborating with our team to identify and address customer needs and concerns.
Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Learning and developing an understanding of our software and its applications.
  • Developing and delivering training programs to customers.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Traveling to customer sites to provide on-site training and support.
  • Collaborating with our team to identify and address customer needs and concerns.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fluency in both French and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Experience in the parts or service area of a dealership, preferably with a dealership management system.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in the automotive industry, dealership environment, or with PBS Systems.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Strong documentation abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month.
