Job Title: Bilingual Automotive Fixed Ops Software Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Automotive Fixed Ops Software Trainer to join our team at PBS Systems. As a key member of our Dealer Management Software (DMS) team, you will provide support and training to new and existing customers on our software, specifically in the Parts and/or Service modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn and develop an understanding of the PBS software and its various modules.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to customers on the use of our software, both virtually and in-person.
  • Assist customers with data entry and other key tasks related to our software.
  • Complete the payroll module, if applicable.
  • Become an install resource without assistance.
  • Prioritize tasks without direction from Team Leads.
  • Take the initiative to learn new products and increase knowledge.
  • Provide excellent support to customers in our software.
  • Navigate our DMS Software to better assist customers.
  • Work directly with customers and train all sessions in assigned silo and other silos.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with customers, identifying customer needs and ensuring they are met or exceeded.
  • Respond to internal and external training requests in a timely manner.
  • Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise, escalating them to the corresponding teams.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Share knowledge within own silo and others within DTO.
  • Maintain documentation and update as processes change within the department.
  • Commit to ongoing education and cross-training.
  • Monitor the DTO queue.
  • Exhibit customer focus and excellent customer service skills.
  • Be willing to go the "Extra Mile".
Qualifications:
  • Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Experience in the parts or service area of a dealership, preferred.
  • 1-2 years' previous experience in the automotive industry, dealership environment, or PBS, preferred.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization.
  • Strong documentation abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA up to 2 weeks per month, requiring proof of Covid-19 vaccination, valid passport, and/or US visa (if applicable), and valid full-class driver's license.
