Brock University seeks an experienced Administrative Professional to support the Vice President of External Affairs in managing daily operations, coordinating activities, and providing exceptional administrative support. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary range of $57,400 - $70,000 per year.

The successful candidate will have a college diploma in a relevant discipline and demonstrated experience in executive-level administrative support. Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite, are essential. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with confidential and sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Vice President's schedule and ensure thorough preparation for all engagements
  • Act as the principal liaison for all internal and external contact with the Office of the Vice President External
  • Ensure records and information management are in accordance with University policies and procedures
  • Liaise with various offices to ensure awareness and coordination of external relations activities
  • Provide travel-related administrative support to the Vice President
  • Prepare correspondence and manage speaking engagement requests for the VPE
