We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team in External Relations. This role will provide administrative support to the Vice-President, External and associated portfolios, ensuring effective coordination of activities and efficient flow of information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Vice-President's schedule and ensure thorough preparation for all engagements
  • Coordinate activities and events with various offices, exercising initiative and judgment to move business forward
  • Liaise with external contacts, including government agencies, donors, and community organizations
  • Provide travel-related administrative support, including planning, coordinating, and settling expenses
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other materials as required
  • Monitor and maintain records, files, and databases to ensure accuracy and confidentiality

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • College diploma in a relevant discipline, preferably in business administration or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in executive-level administrative support, with strong technical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to act independently and exercise initiative and judgment in decision-making

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $57,400 - $70,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits and tuition waiver are also included.
