Job Title

Domus Building Cleaning Company Ltd. is seeking a skilled Office Manager to maintain the day-to-day operations of their office located in Ottawa, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to telephone inquiries and greet visitors at reception
  • Maintain office supplies and arrange for servicing of office equipment
  • Process vouchers for payment, enter invoices in the accounting system, and match invoices with purchase orders
  • Manage mail and courier services
  • Act as the first point of contact for IT inquiries, providing assistance or directing them appropriately
  • Assist with managing inventory control of uniforms and warehouse supplies
  • Keep accurate records of equipment additions and repairs
  • Generate and distribute memos and communications in English and French
  • Translate policy-related documents as required
  • Coordinate and plan team events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Be eligible for a Reliability Security Clearance
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable and understanding of general bookkeeping an asset but not required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bilingualism (English & French)

Working Conditions:

This role requires work onsite at the company Head Office in Ottawa, Ontario. The position generally works Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm Eastern time.
