About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at GDB Landscaping Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and schedule staff to ensure efficient completion of tasks
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including landscaping and hardscaping projects
  • Estimate labour and materials for projects, and manage budgets accordingly
  • Organize and direct construction of decks, walls, and other outdoor features
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of work completed
  • Tender and administer contracts with suppliers and contractors
  • Repair and maintain equipment, and requisition necessary materials and supplies
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to staff, and recommend improvements to productivity and quality
  • Establish and manage work schedules and procedures
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in landscaping or a related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Working Conditions
  • Worksite environment: outdoors
  • Number of employees supervised: 5-10
  • Language of work: English
  • Hours of work: 35-40 hours per week
