Key Responsibilities- Hire, Train, and Supervise Staff: Lead a team of 3-4 people, with the potential to grow to 5-10 people, and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects efficiently.
- Project Planning and Estimation: Plan and estimate labour and materials required for each project, ensuring timely completion and staying within budget.
- Worksite Management: Oversee the execution of landscaping construction work, maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate work records and logs, providing regular updates to management.
- Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support project requirements.
- Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical guidance, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish and maintain efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth project execution.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Environment: Outdoors, with potential for various locations.
- Work Setting: Various locations, with a focus on outdoor landscaping projects.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with requirements for bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Workload: Large workload, with tight deadlines and a focus on quality and productivity.
- Personal Suitability: Team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a focus on landscaping or a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
