Landscaping Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at GDB Landscaping Ltd. as a key member of our outdoor operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Hiring and Supervision: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, overseeing their performance, providing guidance, and ensuring they meet the company's standards.
- Grounds Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement plans for grounds maintenance, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Labour and Materials Estimation: Plan and estimate labour and materials required for various projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Construction and Project Management: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Record Keeping and Contract Administration: Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labour hours worked, as well as administer contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Equipment Maintenance and Procurement: Ensure the maintenance and repair of equipment, as well as the requisitioning of materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Provide technical guidance and support to staff, resolve work-related problems, and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
- Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules, procedures, and protocols to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
