About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Supervisor to join our team at GDB Landscaping Ltd. as a key member of our outdoor operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Supervision: Lead and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, overseeing their performance, providing guidance, and ensuring they meet the company's standards.
  • Grounds Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement plans for grounds maintenance, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Project Management: Plan, direct, and supervise landscape construction projects, including estimating labor and materials, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and meets safety standards.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical guidance, and recommend improvements to increase productivity and product quality.
  • Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules, procedures, and records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
