Job Title: Deskside Support Technician

We are seeking a skilled Deskside Support Technician to join our team at Manjit S Gauba Professional Corporation. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our users, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Problem-Solving: Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other resources to research and implement solutions to complex technical problems.
  • User Training: Provide guidance and training to users on how to use computer systems and software effectively.
  • Log Maintenance: Maintain a problems and solutions log to aid other technical support analysts in resolving similar issues.
  • Application Redesign: Participate in the redesign of applications and software to improve user experience.
  • Network and Internet Support: Provide support for business systems, network, and Internet issues.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar field.
Work Environment:
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions: Repetitive tasks and sitting.
