We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at Fraser Health. As an Audiologist, you will provide audiology services to patients in accordance with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC) standards of practice and Fraser Health's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities- Provide audiology assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients with hearing and balance disorders.
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to provide patient-centered care.
- Supervise and educate speech and hearing assistants to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in research, quality improvement, and education activities to enhance audiology services.
- Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC).
- Minimum one year recent related experience working as an Audiologist with both pediatric and older adult populations.
- Knowledge of audiology theory and practice, as well as the CSHHPBC standards of practice and practice guidelines for clinical practitioners.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
