Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at Fraser Health, providing high-quality audiology services to patients at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide audiology services in accordance with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC) standards of practice and Fraser Health's mission and values.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with hearing and balance disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to provide patient-centered care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Supervise and mentor designated staff, ensuring they meet the required standards and are equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in research, quality improvement, and education initiatives to enhance the delivery of audiology services and promote evidence-based practice.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC) and applicable certification(s).
  • Minimum one year of recent experience working as an Audiologist with pediatric and older adult populations.
  • Strong knowledge of audiology theory and practice, as well as the CSHHPBC standards of practice and clinical guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
