Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at Fraser Health. The successful candidate will provide audiology services to patients in accordance with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC) standards of practice and Fraser Health's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides audiology assessment and diagnosis of patients' hearing and neural status
- Develops and implements treatment plans to achieve optimal health outcomes
- Collaborates with the interprofessional care team to provide patient-centered care
- Participates in research and quality improvement activities
- Supervises designated staff and ensures standards are met
Requirements
- Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC)
- Minimum one year recent related experience working as an Audiologist
- Knowledge of audiology theory and practice, as well as the CSHHPBC standards of practice
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
