About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at Fraser Health, providing audiology services in accordance with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC) standards of practice, Fraser Health mission, values, and audiology acute care standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient's hearing and neural status, functional abilities, needs, and goals by reviewing records, gathering information, interviewing patients, and identifying patient and audiologist expectations.
- Analyze patient's needs, establish audiological diagnosis and prognosis, and develop evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Educate patients and caregivers on self-management, health promotion, and injury/disability prevention.
- Participate in interprofessional care planning process for patients and collaborate with members of the healthcare team.
- Evaluate and document the effectiveness of interventions and modify strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC).
- Minimum one year recent related experience working as an Audiologist with pediatric and older adult populations.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is around $84,000-$120,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience.
