As a Heavy Machinery Technician at IMP Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and vehicles.

Estimated Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and operate various heavy machinery and vehicles for maintenance activities and towing of aircraft.
  • Diagnostics and rectify faults on all vehicles, industrial machinery, and mechanical equipment utilized by the company.
  • Perform periodic inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of customer and company-owned vehicles, industrial machinery, and mechanical equipment.
  • Keep accurate logbooks on vehicles and equipment as required.
  • Assist members of the maintenance trades as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum qualification of proven mechanical experience with industrial machinery and industrial vehicles.
  • A Provincial Journeyman Mechanic License is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with welding, acetylene equipment, vehicle maintenance equipment, diagnostic testing equipment, lifting and towing equipment, vehicle slings, and personal protective equipment.
