Machining Technician

Target Hydraulics & Machine Work Ltd is seeking a skilled Machining Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our machine shop.

About the JobIn this role, you will be responsible for operating and setting up machines to perform repetitive machining operations. You will also verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery, and enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools.
You will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of noise and dust, requiring excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a related field and a strong understanding of machining principles and practices.
